City hosting open data forum April 27

The city’s Information Technology department is holding an open data forum Monday, April 27, 5–8 p.m., at the Flour Exchange Building, Suite 400, 310 4th Ave. S.

The event will be a chance to learn more about the city’s new open data portal — an online hub featuring public data sets collected by the city.

City staff will go over the city’s open data policy and give a presentation on using the open data portal. The portal has data sets on 311 incidents, fires, crimes, air quality, liquor licenses and much more.
